The Pilcrow & Cleaver project is a showcase of how RJV Design Studio blends heritage architecture with contemporary restaurant interior design. Located in a historic building, this space was reimagined into a sophisticated fine dining destination offering signature food styles and crafted cocktails.

Design Highlights:

• Historic Architecture Meets Modern Dining — Original building features such as the high detailed ceilings and stonework were preserved and celebrated, while new interventions bring a refined modern edge.

• Intimate Dining Pods — Custom-built booths clad in rich timber with quilted seating offer guests a sense of privacy and exclusivity. These pods are accented with bespoke pendant lighting and dramatic botanical wall graphics, creating a striking visual identity.

• Vibrant Natural Elements — A lush vertical green wall brings life and freshness into the space, balancing the bold textures of wood and stone with biophilic design.

• Refined Material Palette — The use of dark woods, quilted leather, marble tables, and metallic finishes gives the restaurant a luxurious yet approachable atmosphere.

• Cocktail Bar Feature — The bar was designed as a statement piece with backlit shelving, polished finishes, and sightlines that draw guests in from the moment they enter.

• Lighting & Ambience — Warm pendant lighting and accent illumination highlight the textures and details, creating a layered, sophisticated dining experience.
